CYPRESS, CAŚNOVEMBER 26, 2017ŚJockey Eduardo Nicosia rode Moonie Blues to an impressive 1-Ż length win Sunday night at Los Alamitos Race Course qualifying to the Grade 1 $1,745,450 Los Alamitos 2 Million Futurity.

It was the third consecutive win at the Orange County racetrack for the Washington-bred daughter of multiple stakes sire FREIGHTTRAIN B. Conditioned by Jaime Gomez, Moonie Blues completed the 400 yards in :19.948 seconds to capture the ninth spot from 81 two-year-olds who participated in 10 trial races.

Owned-and-bred by Lisa Anderson, Moonie Blues entered the trials off a win in the $129,100 Wild West Futurity at Los Alamitos Race Course on October 29th.

Out of the Special Leader mare Stuckonafeeling, Moonie Blues has compiled a (7) 5-0-0 record and banked $65,782 this season.
